It is entirely encrusted with 1000's of Swarovski AB crystal rhinestones. Swarovski makes crystal beads (what you see on a lot of bridal headpieces) and they make crystal rhinestones. Some lesser quality rhinestones are made of glass. Swarovski uses genuine crystal for their's. The measurements are 8 inches wide and 3 1/8 inches in height. 4 inches in height (with clasp).
